This is a program where in we work closely with the labours and educate them on the proper use of chemicals in the prepress process. It includes the following:
- How to Use and restore the Chemicals
- Use of Personal Protective Equipment:
(i) Eye and Face Protection : N95 Face Mask, Safety Glasses,
Vented Googles, Chemical Splash Googles, Face Shield
(ii) Hand Protection : Gloves
(iii) Body Protection : Coats or Aprons - Proper Labeling for every container:
- Chemical Segregation by Compatibility
- Proper storage of chemicals
- Moving Chemicals in Tray
- Proper Waste Disposal
- Maintenance of Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)
We held this one hour long training with Knitcare and Jayakumaran Exports wehre we had approximately 25 and 50 labourers attending.
